Self Vulcanizing Fluid

Another adhesive that is used to make cross-links in rubber compounds is Self-Vulcanizing Fluid. It is a quick-drying adhesive that can be applied hot or cold. The tire tube is reformed once the adhesive is applied and bonds to the polymer in the glue. This fluid is used in tire and tube repairs that are either dual-cure or chemical cures. Self-Vulcanizing Fluid allows for robust bonding between the repair unit and the tire/tube and ensures that the bond lasts. This is very cost-effective to use.
